My friend Margaret Fisk often posts about issues of creativity etc. Right now she’s requesting flower doodles for a creativity exercise she’s doing.
Here’s mine, done on the facing page of a journal entry in red and green fountain pen ink. The doodle started from the green smudges where one pen dripped. It suggested flower centers to me, so I filled in flowers, added stems, and put them in a vase.

Hmm, never thought to use my fountain pens that way. Mostly I reserve them for special uses, which means when I want to use them, the ink is dry.
That’s cute. I’m a flower doodler and cartoonish faces. I like pens as well, but pencils are my favorite.
